JOEBOB HAVLICEK
On guitar is Joebob Havlicek, who studied trumpet performance and jazz improvisation at Virginia Tech.
He worked in fusion and straight-ahead jazz bands around Southwestern Virginia before relocating to Austin in 1990.
There he founded the jazz-rock fusion outfits Dipsheda and Snafu Manchu, both of which were active in the Austin scene with regular gigs at top venues including Babes on Sixth, Steamboat, and Esther's Follies.
Dr. Joebob holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
